Summer Fest - 2012

The Lithuanian-American community of Minnesota (LACMN) is inviting all members and guests to celebrate a Summer's Day as part of this year's Summer Fest Event. Note: July 6 is Lithuania’s Statehood Day and Mindaugas Coronation Day. We invite everyone to bring their playful, summer-like mood to the celebration.

Park Location:
Group Campground, Welch West Hill, Whedge #3 (WH3: Holds 35 people), has picnic tables and grilles. See Useful links below and click on O'Brien State Park - map. On the map - on page 1 - the location is listed as Wedge Hill Group Camp which is along Wetland Trail (below Savanna Campground and above Beaver Lodge Trail). The little black square on the map with three tents inside is where you will find the campground for the LACMN picnic as well as where the LACMN overnight camping is located.

What to Bring:
Bring food and drinks. 

Program:
We will play volleyball, grill food, swim (a short drive away) and participate in other fun outdoor activities.

Camping: (overnight)
As mentioned above (see Park Location) the campground is Welch West Hill, Whedge #3. Bring your own camping gear. This year camping is available for 2 nights (Friday & Saturday night).
