Martyno Mazvydo

Martyno Mazvydo is the Children's Lithuanian School. It was founded in 1999 by Rasa Jakstiene and taught by her until she left for California in 2009. Since then the school has been taken over under the coordination of Rita Urboniene and Laima Adomaviciene. For further information please contact Rita (see contact below).

For the 2010-2011 school year, like last year, Laima Adomavičienė will teach the elementary pupils. Laima will teach the school age children in a more formal way: she will prepare some tasks about the history of Lithuania and Lithuanian grammar. Rita Urbonienė and Christine Howland will teach the preschool pupils. Meetings will be held with preschool games in the form of Lithuanian language (fairy tales, songs, poems, dances, crafts). Everyone is welcome to join the School and the teachers.
